Fees/Rebates
PRIVATE / MHCP
​
$190.00 (+GST if applicable).
Standard Individual Private / MHCP Psychological Consultation (50-60mins).
​
Clients with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) referral may be entitled to a Medicare rebate.
​
Some private health funds also offer rebates for psychological services – please check with your provider.
SELF-REFERRAL
​
GP / Health Practitioner referrals are not essential.
​
Clients may contact Crystal Clear Psychology directly to book an appointment at any time, and pay privately.
MEDICARE REBATES
​
Medicare rebates are capped at $92.90 for registered psychologists.
​
Eligible individuals can receive up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year.
​
After the initial 6 sessions your referring doctor will assess your progress and a further 4 sessions may be requested.
​
Rebates through Medicare can be paid directly into your debit account.
PRIVATE HEALTH CARE REBATES
​
Some psychological therapy services may be eligible for rebates through Private Health Insurance extras cover.
​
Please contact your insurance provider to confirm your eligibility for rebates.
​
Clients may NOT claim Medicare and Private Health insurance for the same consultation.
​
It is the client’s responsibility to determine whether to claim their fees through either Medicare or their Private Health fund.
NDIS
NDIS offers an information and referral service to any Australian with any level of disability, including access to specialist disability support services.
If eligible for NDIS, yourself or your child will receive funding on an annual basis to buy the services and aids you or your child needs to achieve goals and achieve optimal independence. Funds can be managed by yourself (“self-managed”), asigned to a specified agency to manage your funds (“plan managed”) or NDIS managed (“NDIA managed”).

Crystal Clear Psychology can offer therapy services for individuals aged 7 and above for clients who are self-managed or plan managed. NDIS funding can be delivered at our Meadow Springs clinic, at home or at school.

Cancellation Policy
Crystal Clear Psychology understands that from time-to-time appointment times may need to be changed or cancelled. At least 48 hours’ notice is required so that the appointment may be offered to other clients on the waiting list. A courtesy reminder will be sent 24 hours before an appointment. However, it is the responsibility of the client to ensure that appointments are attended at the scheduled time. We also ask that you arrive punctually for your appointment.
If you need to cancel or change an appointment and at least 48 hours’ notice is provided, no fee is payable. Non-attendance or last-minute cancellation of an appointment may incur a cancellation fee. Please note there is no rebate available on cancellation fees.
